SUMMARY:Spring Grand Rounds: Compassionate Leadership in the Workplace
DESCRIPTION:Join us for an engaging Grand Rounds session focused on equipping managers and supervisors with trauma-informed leadership tools to help them better communicate\, motivate\, and retain employees. In an era of intense competition for talent\, attracting\, developing\, and retaining the best staff is an important part of almost every company’s strategic plan. Yet across many fields\, workplaces are navigating high turnover and staff burnout that stem from a host of both organizational challenges and non-workplace stressors. With a focus on building compassionate leadership\, we can begin to evaluate those challenges and implement meaningful changes. Regardless of your professional background or industry\, this Grand Rounds will offer practical\, evidence-based strategies to strengthen engagement\, connection\, and purpose in the workplace. \nKey takeaways of the Grand Rounds will be:  \n\nGratitude & Appreciation –  Foster a culture of recognition by expressing gratitude frequently\, highlighting positive actions\, and integrating appreciation into performance evaluations.\nLeading with Compassion – Cultivate empathetic leadership by offering support during challenges\, practicing constructive feedback\, applying the “Platinum Rule\,” and promoting self-compassion.\nStrengthening Staff Purpose – Deepen employee engagement by connecting work to purpose\, coaching rather than supervising\, and helping staff build resilience and grit.\nThe Power of Social Connection – Enhance workplace relationships through mentorship\, inclusive connections\, and intentional social rituals that foster belonging and trust.\n\nBounce Grand Rounds is made possible by the generosity of Aetna Better Health of Kentucky.
