DESCRIPTION:Join us for an engaging Grand Rounds session focused on equipping managers and supervisors with trauma-informed leadership tools to help them better communicate\, motivate\, and retain employees. In an era of intense competition for talent\, attracting\, developing\, and retaining the best staff is an important part of almost every company’s strategic plan. Yet across many fields\, workplaces are navigating high turnover and staff burnout that stem from a host of both organizational challenges and non-workplace stressors. SUMMARY:Spiritual First Aid (In-Person Training)
DESCRIPTION:Trauma is all around us\, but it can be difficult to know how to help those who’ve been through traumatic experiences. That’s why the Bounce Coalition is hosting a free in-person training for Spiritual First Aid. Designed for faith and community groups\, this training provides practical\, trauma-informed tools for responding to mental and emotional struggles using the BLESS CPR helping framework. Participants will receive hands-on training\, a workbook\, and a field guide to better support children\, adolescents\, and adults in their communities. This training is free thanks to the generosity of the Kentucky Opioid Abatement Advisory Commission. \nPlease note this will be an in-person training in Louisville\, Kentucky.
