This October we hosted our ninth virtual Bounce Grand Rounds. An insightful and interactive forum designed to explore the profound impact of positive childhood experiences on lifelong success and well-being. This bi-annual workshop is crafted for educators, parents, policymakers, and professionals committed to fostering environments that nurture and support youth development.

We heard from Hannah Edelen with Kentucky Youth Advocates, Bloom Kentucky, and the Bounce Coalition on how Positive Childhood Experiences (PCEs) can help mitigate the impact of trauma and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and how we all can support healthier outcomes for youth through the H.O.P.E. – Healthy Outcomes of Positive Experiences framework as well as how data can help advocacy efforts through policy change. Bloom Kentucky is an initiative supported by several grantmaking organizations from across the Commonwealth who are all invested in ending ACEs. The Bloom Kentucky initiative is focused on statewide policy change that aims to prevent and mitigate the impact of childhood adversity.

Kate Andriacco with Covington Partners highlighted ways her school district is actively creating positive childhood experiences in their community through mentorship. Covington Partners works every day to keep our community moving forward by eliminating boundaries to learning and success. Through innovation and collaboration, we create safe and engaging environments for our students and families to learn and grow.

We appreciate the cross-sector and cross-state collaboration that was able to take place due to your participation! The recording can be viewed on the Bounce Coalition’s YouTube page and on the website: Bounce resources page

Stay tuned for our next Bounce Grand Rounds in Spring 2025.
