The Spark Series is a four-part leadership development training designed to equip managers with the mindset, skills, and habits needed to support, inspire, and retain today’s workforce, especially the younger generation who expect workplaces rooted in purpose, compassion, and connection. Each training session builds on the last, giving leaders tools to strengthen resilience, deepen staff purpose, and create cultures where people feel seen, supported, and motivated to stay.

This training includes interactive activities and engaging conversations around race-based traumatic stress (RBTS). Participants will be able to define RBTS and name current and historical examples, recognize the impacts, and learn about trauma-informed interventions and local resources available to address RBTS.
This interactive workshop helps parents and caregivers understand the critical role they play in their child’s education. It includes practical ways to actively partner with teachers to help children flourish, including making the most of parent/teacher conferences.
In partnership with the Department of Community Based Services, Seven Counties’ Bellewood and Brooklawn, and St. Joseph Children’s Home, Bounce has created a trauma-informed care framework for agencies to use as their day-to-day milieu with their clients. Too often, parents focus on the problems and challenges their children face. This interactive workshop is designed to help parents and caregivers identify the strengths their child possesses and to build on those assets to help them grow up successfully. The training uses the age-specific developmental assets from the Search Institute and incorporates “homework” to encourage parents to put the learning into action.
This training is designed to help youth-serving professionals understand the relationship between trauma, brain development, and substance use in adolescents. Participants will gain strategies for building resilience in youth, tools for having conversations about substance use, and activities that create opportunities for positive childhood experiences.

The Bounce Coalition offers Spiritual First Aid to strengthen community capacity, provide new resources to build resilience, and equip community members with the tools to respond in a trauma-informed way.
Designed for faith and community groups, this training teaches frontline peer-to-peer spiritual and emotional care and trauma-informed best practices through its step-by-step BLESS CPR helping framework. Participants will receive hands-on training, a workbook, and a field guide to better support children, adolescents, and adults in their communities.

De-escalation Strategies 101 provides an introduction for adults working with youth on the principles of deescalation, SAMHSA’s 6 Principles of a Trauma Informed Approach, Brain research behind adult and child relationships, the 4 C’s of Calming, effective strategies for disruptive behavior, importance of debriefing, and includes a case scenario.

This training introduces the variety of trauma that a child with a disability may experience. It also explores the different ways that family members are impacted by secondary trauma. After exploring the different types of trauma that impact the family, the training will offer resiliency strategies for both children and family members to overcome the trauma.
